Mark Sherry has had 19 stents inserted since he first experienced chest pains and a shortness of breath in the gym 20 years ago.
The Wicklow man, who suffered a heart attack in 2016, is advocating for greater cardiac health awareness as the Irish Heart Foundation launches its lifestyle campaign today.
The ‘Love Your Heart’ campaign will focus on eight lifestyle changes people can make which can dramatically lower heart disease and stroke risks.
